Cultivars
'Betty Bowring'
This plant is simular to the species but produces pure white flowers.

'Hadspen Cream'
This plant has paler green leaves with cream margins and the flowers are pale blue. It is very cold hardy tolerating zone 3 to 5.

'Jack Frost'
This plant grows to 400mm (16in) tall and wide forming a low clump with large silvery leaves with green veins. The small clear-blue flowers appear during early spring and the plant prefers a semi shaded to full shade cool position. It is used as a ground cover or as a container plant but must be kept moist. Once established it has a high water requirement (Scale: 3-drops from 3), and responds to an occasional deep watering or misting to increase humidity.
