'Green Machine'
This perennial grows to 1m (3ft) tall and wide forming a clump with strap-like leaves and producing bright green tube-shaped flowers in clusters that are held above the foliage on a slender stem.

It grows in full sun to semi shade preferring a well drained sandy soil. It is planted in rockeries or borders and is an excellent cut flower. It has a low water requirement once established (Scale: 1-drop from 3), responding to mulch and an occasional deep watering during dry periods, particularly for young plants.
