This perennial grows to 600mm (2ft) tall and wide with large mahogany to black leaves that die back during winter, re-emerging in spring. The bright orange yellow flowers appear in clusters during summer and the plant grows in full sun to semi shade.

It is planted in perennial borders or in patio pots for colour contrast and has a medium water requirement once established. (Scale: 2-drops from 3)
