'Billy Green'
This shrub is upright with olive green foliage and produces pendant flowers that have bright red tubes that taper to salmon pink pointed sepals. The petals are pale pink and the flowers appear profusely from the leaf axils.

'California'
This upright shrub produces pendant flowers with pale red tubes that fade to greenish white at the apex of the sepals. The petals are red and the producing stamens are tipped in white.

'Gartenmeister Bonstedt'
This is an example of the cultivars that are found in thetriphyllagroup with long floral tubes, single flowers and foliage that is purplish on the underside.

'Thalia'
This bushy shrub to 1m (3ft) produces bright red long-tube flowers with pointed red sepals and short red petals. The leaves are dull green with a purplish mid-rib.
