This plant is simular to the species but produces yellow fruit.

'Onondaga'
This upright shrub has deep maroon new growth that turns reddish-purple during autumn. Its flowers are deep red in bud and are surrounded by white sterile flowers and contrast with the leaves. It is an excellent specimen plant.
