This plant resulted from Escallonia bifidaX Escallonia x exoniensisand forms an upright dense bushy habit to 3m (10ft) tall. It has very dark green leaves with an undulating margin that may become bronze colour during winter.

The pure white slightly fragrant flowers appear during late summer in conical panicles. It is an excellent plant for hedging or screening growing in full sun to semi-shade growing in well drained fertile soil and is frost and drought tender. It has a medium water requirement once established.
