Cultivars
'Elite'
This small tree is upright with a dense habit and forms a rounded crown. It is suitable as a specimen in a small garden or may be mass planted and pruned to form a tall hedge or windbreak. It tolerates most well drained moist soils in a full sun to semi-shaded position and is not susceptible to psyllid attack.

'Lilliput'
This shrub has a dwarf habit to 2m (6ft) and is planted in small gardens.

'Nana'
This is a dwarf form grows to 2m (6ft) tall by 1.5m ( 5ft) wide with a dense shrubby habit. It has glossy green leaves that turn reddish in cooler climates and is resistant to insect attack. It is commonly grown as a screen plant in borders or may be pruned for topiary and is ideal for patio pots. It prefers a full sun position with reliable moisture.
