This spreading plant has pale pink flowers that are produced from dark pink buds and is planted as an understorey in shrub borders or in a container.
'Cascade Dawn'
This spreading perennial grows to 300mm (1ft) tall and wide and has leaves that are charcoal-grey to silvery and red on the underside. The small flowers are produced during early summer but the plant is primarily grown for its foliage. It is planted under trees as a ground cover or used in containers tolerating full sun with some protection from mid day heat and has a medium water requirement once established. This perennial produces leaves that have pewter, burgundy and olive hues. The margin is ruffled and the undersides are deep maroon. It is drought tender but frost tolerant preferring a protected position and is used as an understorey plant or grown in a container. It has a medium water requirement once established.
