Variations
Coastal Form
This low growing suckering plant to 300mm (1ft) is found in coastal regions growing in heath on sandy soils and tolerating salt spray. It produces small pink flowers that are not showy but is suitable for exposed positions.
Grenfell Form
This small shrub to 300mm (1ft) tall produces bright pink flowers and is an excellent rockery specimen.
Prostrate Form
This spreading plant grows to 200mm (8in) tall with spreading branches that form a dense cover and produces pink and cream flowers. It is excellent in rockeries or as a spillover along walls.
Robust Form
This rounded shrub grows to 1.5m (5ft) tall and wide and produces pink-red to creamy white flowers and is found in the lower elevations of mountains and is suitable for low screen planting in cooler climates.
Upper Murray Form
This low growing plant to 500mm (20in) tall is suitable for cool mountain regions and produces bright pink and cream flowers.
Wilsons Promontory Form
This low growing plant to 1m (3ft) forms a dense habit and produces pink or cream flowers and is suitable for coastal regions tolerating salt spray.
