'Orchid Frost'
This low spreading perennial forms a mound habit up to 100mm (4in) tall and 500mm (20in) wide. It has silvery-white leaves that have green margins and produces short spikes of lavender coloured flowers during spring. It grows in a semi shaded position on well drained, but moist fertile soils and has a medium water requirement once established. (Scale: 2-drops from 3) It is planted in rockeries, small gardens and containers (hanging baskets) and mass planted as a ground cover.
