This small tree grows to 7 metres (21ft) tall and produces luscious dark green foliage that is contrasted by creamy-white branchlets. It forms a rounded dense crown and is planted in parks and gardens for shade or screening and used in street plantings. It grows in an open sunny to semi shaded position on most well drained moist soils that are mulched.
