Variations
There is 2-main sub-groups.
Grandiflora
These annuals have flowers that appear in a compact cyme with 5 to 15 blooms that are up to 80mm (3? in)long. The flower colours include red, yellow, orange and in bi-colours with markings in purple.
Multiflora
These annuals produce blooms in less than 16 weeks and grow to 200 mm (7µ in)tall. They have yellow and orange or red flowers that are arranged in a dense cyme that appears during summer and the seed may be sown throughout the year.
