'Evergreen Giant'

This grass-like perennial has a tall clumping habit with long dark green strap-like leaves and has profuse, purple flowers in spikes that appear in late spring. It is an excellent low edging plant attaining a height of 700mm (30in) and grows in full sun to semi-shade. It prefers a well drained moist soil and is suitable for coastal regions.

'Iirf' PBRIsabella (TM)
This compact form grows to 400mm (16in) tall and wide with dark green fine textured leaves. During summer showy pink flowers are arranged in an upright spike that protrudes from the foliage and the plant is commonly grown in rockeries or as a specimen in a small garden. It tolerates most well drained to temporally wet soils and an open full sun to heavy shaded position.

It is drought and frost tolerant and once established it has a low water requirement (Scale: 1-drop from 3), responding to mulch and an occasional deep watering during dry periods, particularly for young plants.
