Cultivars
'Penncross'
This is a fine to medium textured turfgrass with dark green foliage that is vigorous and has a high shoot density. It has good recuperative growth that is less prone to forming mottled patches but increased thatch build up.

'Seaside'
This fine to medium textured turfgrass has mid to dark green foliage with a high shoot density and vigorous growth. It is prone to segregation in to mottled patches but has excellent tolerance to winter desiccation and saline soils. It requires medium to low intensity culture.

'Penneagle'
This medium textured turfgrass has dark green foliage with a very high shoot density and is moderately vigorous. It requires medium nitrogen fertility but is highly susceptible to dollar spot.

'Emerald'
This medium to fine textured turfgrass has dark green foliage with a high shoot density. It tolerates low temperatures but has a poor wear resistance and has a high susceptibility to dollar spot.

'Cobra'
This vigorous turfgrass has dark green foliage and has excellent heat and drought tolerance. It is hardy during winter and requires only low levels of nitrogen and phosphorous.
