Cultivars
Note
Generally the following clump forming cultivars require a sandy to gravelly soils that is very well drained and moderately fertile in an open sunny to partly shaded position. They are used in garden borders, rockeries or mass planted in beds and grown in patio pots.

They are bird attracting and may be cut back after flowering. The flowers are also excellent when cut and may be live or dried.
They have a low water requirement (Scale: 1-drop from 3) and responds to mulching and an occasional deep watering during dry periods. They are drought and light frost tolerant once established and dislikes wet soils.
