Cultivars
'White Tiger'
This evergreen perennial forms a clump habit up to 600 mm (2 ft) tall by 500 mm (20 in) wide with strap-like green and cream coloured foliage. It produces white iris like flowers of the foliage from spring to summer and spot-flowers throughout the year.
It is planted along low borders in small gardens or mass planted in large gardens or parks and is ideal for establishing the new garden.
It grows in an open sunny to semi shaded position on well drained moderately fertile moist soils. During periods of hot weather the plant responds to an occasional deep soaking and the application of slow release fertiliser during spring.
'Johnsonii'
This evergreen perennial is a larger form with longer foliage and profuse flowering from spring to early summer.
