'Compressa'
This is a dwarf plant with an erect habit to 75cm. It has silvery blue foliage.
'Depressa'
Juniperus communissspdepressa
This dwarf slow growing conifer forms a spreading mound habit to 1.2m (4ft) tall. It has pointed linear dark green leaves with a broad glaucous stomatic band in the centre on the upper side and they are arranged pointing forward densely along the branchlets. This plant naturally grows in dry sandy-stony moderately fertile soils in exposed positions and is very hardy.
'Depressa Aurea'
This is a dwarf plant to grow to 400mm (16in) tall and up to 1.2m (4ft) wide. The new foliage is yellowish ageing to bronze-gold on spreading branches that are upturned at the tips. Mature plants may be lightly pruned to encourage bright new growth. There is also a green version of this plant that has the same spreading habit but with only green foliage.
'Golden Showers'
The dwarf shrub is upright and forms a conical habit with blue-green foliage. It is suitable for small gardens or patio pots as a specimen and prefers a cool moist environment.
'Hibernica'
This vigorous conifer grows to 5m (15ft) tall and forms a dense column habit that broadens to a conical habit with age. The foliage is blue green.
'Hornibrookii'
This small prostate shrub grows to 500mm (20in) tall with a spread up to 120cm (4ft) wide. It has small pointed grey - green foliage and the plant is used in rockeries or as a ground cover in garden beds.
'Repanda'
This small prostrate conifer has arching branches up to 300mm (1ft) long with dark green foliage. It is suitable for small or rock gardens as a specimen.
'Suecica' Swedish Juniper
This slow growing conifer is upright with ascending branches forming a compact columnar habit to 5m (15ft) tall. It has blue-green leaves and the branchlets tend to droop towards the apex.
