This shrubs to small tree grows to 8 m (25 ft) tall and wide forming a buttressed trunk and rounded crown. It has spreading branches with leathery leaves that are dappled in dark grey-green and have creamy yellow margins. It is planted along borders for screening or is grown in patio tubs for colour contrast.
