'Aureus'
This plant has small flowers and yellow-green new growth.

'Birchlands'
This upright shrub to 2m (6ft) tall has arching stems with dark green ovate leaves and forms a bushy habit. It produces white star-shaped flowers from late spring to early summer. It is planted in borders and is suitable to cold regions with wind protection.

'Lemoinei'syn.Philadelphus x lemoinei
This is a hybrid between Philadelphus coronarius and Philadelphus microphyllus and attains a height of 1.8m (6ft) tall with arching branches. It is a deciduous shrub with ovate toothed leaves and produces very fragrant small cyathiform (cup shaped) flowers blooming from early to mid summer.

'Variegatus'
This upright shrub forms a multiple stems from the base up to 2.5m (8ft) tall with spreading branches forming a dense rounded habit. It has bright green leaves with a white margin and the small white flowers appear during spring. The foliage is a feature of the plant and is used for colour contrast along shrub borders or mass planted to form an informal hedge.
