'Frisia'      Golden Robinia

This deciduous tree has yellow leaves and grows to 10m (30ft) tall by 8 m (24 ft) wide with a single trunk and spreading branches that form a rounded crown. The imparipinnate leaf is to 350 mm (14 in) long and consists of up to 21 elliptical-ovate leaflets that 60 mm (2? in)long by 35 mm (1? in) wide.

The new growth is clear yellow maturing yellow and turning deep yellow in autumn, before falling. It is thornless but will sucker with thorned growth if disturbed and it is difficult to grow other plants underneath it.
