Cultivars
'Can Can'
This small conifer is upright to 3m (10ft) and forms a broad conical habit. It has dark green foliage that becomes yellowish green towards the tips and is suitable for screen planting along borders.

'Cuprea'
This slow growing dwarf conifer forms abroad pyramidal habit with bronze-green foliage and golden-yellow new growth. This plant reaches 1m (3ft) in height and is good in rockeries.

'Filiformis' Threadleaf Red Cedar
This small conifer is upright and rounded with pendant thread-like branchlets that have scale-like leaves with a pointed reddish apex. It is planted along low borders or used as a specimen in cool climate gardens.

'Hilliery'
This dwarf conifer forms a rounded bun habit and the foliage is green and blotched with mossy coloured areas. It is slow growing and attains a height of 1m (3ft) over 8 years.

'Old Gold'
This slow growing conifer has an erect pyramidal habit with green inner and golden outer foliage. The outer foliage turns to deep bronze during winter. It will attain 2m (6ft) in 5 to 6 years.

'Rogersii'
This rounded shrub has a pointed apex and the fine foliage is golden-yellow turning bronze during winter. It is slow growing gaining only 300mm (1ft) in 5 years and requires a quite place in the rockery.

'Stoneham Gold'
This rounded upright shrub is slow growing with dark green inner foliage that is tipped with gold-yellow in compact erect sprays. Remains a dwarf-looking plant for the first 25 years then attaining a height of 2m (6ft) towards maturity.

'Zebrina'
This faster growing conifer forms an upright pyramidal habit with light yellow foliage, which remains throughout the year. It will attain a height of 3m (10ft) in 10 to 12 years.
