Cultivars
There are many cultivars available, please contact your local nursery for available varieties.

Bijou Group
Cultivars of this group grow to 450 mm (18in) tall forming a bushy habit. They produce slightly scented flowers with wavy petals that are pink, blue, red or white. They can be grown in small gardens and require only limited support.

Continental Group
Cultivars of this group of vigorous and semi climbing to 1 m (3ft) and produce racemes with to five flowers with spreading wing petals that are red, blue, pink or white.

Early Multiflora
Cultivars in this group of vigorous and have prominent stipules growing to 2.5 m (3˝ft). They produce racemes of up to 8 a lightly scented flowers that are rose pink, salmon pink, lavender blue, scarlet all white.

Explorer Group
Cultivars of this group grow to 600 mm (2 ft) tall and up to 1 m (3ft) wide. They produce racemes of wavy edged flowers that are light to dark blue, crimson, scarlet, rose pink, purple or white. These plants can be used as a ground cover and the flowers may be cut for floral arrangements.

Galaxy Group
Cultivars in this group of vigorous growers with prominent stipules and grow up to 2.5 m (8 ft) tall. They produce racemes with up to eight wavy margin flowers that are rose pink to salmon pink, scarlet, white or lavender blue. The plants normally require support and the flowers are cut for floral arrangements.

Jet Star Group
Cultivars are in this group are at or a height of 1.2 m (4ft) and require support. They produce racemes with up to five flowers with spreading wing petals that may be wavy and are in shade of red, blue, pink and white. The flowers are commonly used in floral arrangements.

Knee-hi Group
Cultivars in this group have prominent stipules and grow to a height of 1 m (3 Ft) forming a bushy habit. They produce racemes that consist of four flowers that are in shades of red, blue, pink and white.

'Multiflora', 'Zvolanek'
These cultivars produce abundant large flowers and are very vigorous. They are available in a wide range of colours.

Dwarf bedding types
'Knee High'
This plant grows to 500mm (20in) and produces racemes with flowers that are in mixed colours.

'Bijoo'
This plant grows to 350mm (14in) tall and produces racemes with ruffled flowers in mixed colours.

'Little Sweetheart'
This plant grows to 200mm (7 3/4in) tall, forming a densely rounded habit and producing racemes with flowers in mixed colours.
