Cultivars
'Albus'
The shrub produces deep green leaves with a white gloss margin and has a paler underside. Some variations have cream, yellow or grey green margins.
'Albo-margintus'
The shrub produces leaves with irregular white leaf margins.
'Aureus'
The shrub has bright yellow foliage that may have yellow margins.
'Aureo-margintus'
The shrub produces grey green leaves with yellow margins and small star shaped flowers in summer.
'Aureo-pictus'
This shrub has grey green leaves with a golden-yellow centre and produces masses of tiny yellow-green flowers during spring.
'Microphyllus Variegatus'
This small dense shrub has an upright habit to 1m (3ft) with small crowded oblong leaves with white margins and produces greenish white flowers. It grows in most well drained moderately fertile soils and is tolerant of salt spray. The shrub is planted in small gardens for colour contrast or used in rockeries.
'Ovatus Aureus'
The shrub produces mid green leaves that have an irregular bright yellow margin. The upper leaves may be completely yellow.
