'Albertii'
This medium size perennial has pinkish new growth that matures to dark green with variegated cream stripe along the leaves. It tolerates most soils and positions and once established it has a medium water requirement, (Scale: 2-drops from 3) and responds to mulching with an occasional deep watering during dry periods.
'Cabernett'
This clump forming perennial has upright stems to 2m (6ft) tall with glossy cabernet coloured strap-like foliage. During summer it produces sprays of creamy-white flowers that contrast with the foliage.
It grows in full sun to semi shade on most well drained moderately fertile soils and is suitable for coastal regions. It is grown as a specimen along borders for colour and foliage contrast or used as a container specimen plant.
'Pink Dazzler'
This medium size perennial is slow growing attaining a height of 2m (6ft) in 10 years and has sword-like leaves with bronze margins and central strips of pinkish green. It is planted in tropical or formal gardens for foliage contrast and is suitable for patio pots.
It grows in full sun to semi shade tolerating dry conditions and grows in well drained moderately fertile soils. It has a low water requirement once established (Scale: 1-drop from 3) responding to mulch and an occasional deep watering during dry periods.
'Purpurea'
This plant has bronze to purple leaves otherwise it is simular to the species. It grows in full sun to semi-shade in most well drained soils and has a medium water requirement once established. (Scale: 2-drops from 3)
'Red Sensation'
This plant is a cultivar of Cordyline baueriand forms a solitary stem up to 2.5m (8ft) tall and is topped with a crown of dull red sword-shaped leaves. The small fragrant white flowers appear on mature plants in pendant clusters during summer and the plant is grown in patio or veranda pots as a focal point.
It is also planted in garden beds in small groves and prefers a full sun to semi-shaded position. It grows in most well drained soils on the coast and inland and is drought tolerant. It has a medium water requirement once established. (Scale: 2-drops from 3)
'Red Star' syn.'Midnight Star'
This plant grows to 2m (6ft) tall with a slender stem that is topped with burgundy sword-shaped leaves. The white flowers appear in pendant panicles during summer and the plant is used in patio pots or in borders for foliage contrast.

'Sundance'
This upright perennial to 2.5m (8ft) tall has a slender stem that is topped in a rosette of mid green leaves with pink-red mid-ribs. It is used for its architectural aspect in patio pots or tropical or Mediterranean gardens for foliage contrast.
