Propagation
Surface sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media, and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F). Prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle.
Take semi-hardwood cuttings during late summer and placed on a misting bench.

Botanic information
Leaf: The light green sessile oblong to ovate leaves have a thick leathery texture with oil glands on the underside and up to 3 mm (? in) wide. The apex is acute to obtuse and the leaves are arranged densely along the slender branchlets.

Flower: The pink to mauve cyathiform (cup-shaped) flowers have 5-pointed sepals and 5-pinkins petals with bundles of stamens up to 12 mm (½ in) long that arch inwards and have a claw-like appearance. the yellowish pedestal is thick and short and the flowers appear solitary or in a small cluster from a spring to summer. The flowers might also appear sporadically until autumn.

Fruit: The small urn shaped capsule contains numerous tiny seeds that are viable that the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
