Propagation
Remove small seeds from the fruit and place in a well drained media and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F). The seeds germinate slowly.
Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are broad obovate to broadly elliptical up to 70mm (2? in) wide with an obtuse apex that may be notched and a cuneate base. The upper surface is mid green and the underside is pale green with the petiole up to 25 mm (1 in) long. The surface has distinct oil glands and the leaf is aromatic when crushed.
Flower: The yellowish flower is composed of 4-calyx lobes and 4-petals with numerous exserted whitish stamens. The pedestal is short and the flowers arranged in a loose cyme that appears during spring.
Fruit: The creamy white globose fruit has a fleshy texture and contains 4-chambers. The small seeds may or may not be viable and are slow to germinate.
