Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well drained media and allow the surface to dry before watering, avoid damping off from over watering.
Take soft tip cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period and place in a well drained media. Keep moist and warm until roots appear.

This plant is not commonly cultivated outside its native region and may be difficult to obtain requiring a specialist nursery.
Botanic information
Leaf: The glossy dark green ovate leaves are up to 15mm (¥ in) wide and have a long acuminate apex and a cuneate base with a short petiole. They appear oppositely along slender drooping branchlets and the leaves tend to be pendent.
Flower: The small crateriform flowers have a short calyx tube and the orbicular petals are up to 7mm (¥ in) wide and are pink aging to purplish-red. The pedicle is short and the flowers appear solitary in the leaf axils during spring.
Fruit: The small globular black berry is accompanied with the persistent calyx lobes and has a peduncle up to 8mm (? in) long. The small seeds are viable but the plant can be reproduced vegetatively.
