Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring in a well-drained media in pots and maintain a temperature of 16º to 27º C. (61º to 81º F).

Botanic information
Leaf: The thin leathery textured glossy dark green elliptical leaves are up to 200 mm (7µ in) long by 65 mm (2½ in) wide and have an accumulate apex and a short petiole that is swollen at twig junction. The margins are entire or serrulate and the leaf underside is pale green with distinct venation.

Flower: The fragrant creamy white cyathiform flowers are yellowish in bud and are up to 10 mm (? in) wide by 15 mm (? in) long with recurved tepals and a long exserted style. They are arranged densely in a nodding raceme that is up to 130 mm (5? in) long by 35 mm (5? in) wide and appear in the leaf axils from a late winter to early summer.

Fruit: The purplish blue fleshy ovoid drupe is up to 15 mm (? in) long by 7 mm (¥ in) wide and contains an ovoid seed that is up to 8 mm (? in) long by 5 mm (? in) wide. The fruit is eaten raw by the Australian aborigines.
