Propagation
Surface sow seeds immediately after collecting and maintain a temperature 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F).
Take basal stem cuttings during late summer and place in a very well-drained media. Cuttings may require callusing prior to planting.

Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile bright green thick fleshy linear leaves have an obtuse apex and are incurved with an obliquely thickened underside. They are arranged oppositely in pairs with up to 4 or more per stem.

Flower: The bright yellow crateriform flowers have numerous linear petals and a central boss of stamens. they appear solitary in the leaf axils on a short pedestal just above the foliage from summer to late winter.

Fruit: The capsular fruit has 8-20 valves that have an awn-like tip and contains numerous seeds. The small seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
