Take stem or leaf cuttings during spring.

Sow seed as soon as ripe in a very well-drained media and prick out pot up when large enough to handle.

Botanic information
Leaf: The thick fleshy textured mid green spathulate to obovate leaves are up to 60 mm (2? in) long by 33 mm (1¥ in) wide with an acute apex and a short petiole. Both surfaces are densely covered in silvery hairs and the margins may be tinged in reddish-brown.

Flower: The yellow, red keeled urceolate flowers are up to 20 mm (µ in) long with 5-green pubescent sepals and 5-pointed petals. The short stamens have yellow anthers and the pedicle is up to 12 mm (½ in) long. They are arranged in a raceme that is up to 300 mm (12 in) long and appears above the foliage on a fleshy scape from winter to spring.

Fruit: The small follicle appears in a cluster and contains many tiny seeds. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
