Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during autumn in pots and place in a open frame to germinate.
Take soft tip cuttings from spring to early summer. Place in a well drained media in a warm protected environment and keep moist but not wet.

Botanic information
Leaf: The grey green 2-3 pinnatedly dissected leaves have lanceolate segments that have an acute apex and are densly covered in white hairs.

Flower: The radiate flowers have bright yellow tubulate disk florets and white imbicate oblong ray florets that are purplish on the back. They appear solitary or in pairs above the foliage on a slender pubescent scape from late spring to late summer.
Note
The flowers close during the evening and on cloudy days.

Fruit: The flattened glaborous achenes may have 2-wings and the pappus is absent. The small seeds are viable but the plant may be propagated vegetatively.
