Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are oblong to spathulate, up to 15 mm (? in) wide and tend to be concave with an obtuse to acute apex and a long flattened petiole. Both surfaces are covered in white woolly hairs and the margins are entire to crenate.

Flower: The tubulate flowers have 5-spreading rounded notched petals with 2-overlapping the pollen cup and appear above the foliage singularly from the leaf axils. The flowering period is from late winter to late spring.

Fruit: The ovoid capsule contains numerous tiny seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
