Botanic information
Leaf: The grey green ovate to broad lanceolate arching leaves are deeply divided forming pointed linear-lanceolate segments.
Flower: The tiny pink to mauve salverform flowers have 5-petals and 4-stamens. They are arranged in a dense terminal rounded spike that appears high above the foliage on a scape that is up to 200mm (8in) tall from spring to summer.
Fruit: The dry nut is enclosed in the persistent calyx and separates into 4-nutlets. The tiny seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
