Botanic information
Leaf: The lower leaves spathulate with a sinuate to dentate margin and the alternately arrange stem leaves are linear to oblanceolate with both of equal size. The apex is acute and the petiole is cylindrical. Both surfaces are covered in stellate tomentose and under cold or hot conditions the leaves are semi-deciduous.
Flower: The small crateriform flowers have 4-sepals and 4-notched pale yellow petals. They are arranged in a dense panicle that is up to 25 mm (1 in) wide above the foliage on a slender scape appearing from late spring to early summer.
Fruit: The small orbicular siliqua capsule is flatten or slightly inflated and contains tiny seeds that are viable and commonly self-sow but it may be reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
