Propagation
Surface sow fresh seeds when ripe (early spring) in a well-drained media, and maintain a temperature of 19º to 24º C. (66º to 77º F).

Germination takes from 1 to 3 months. Prick out and pot up when they are large enough to handle and plant out after all risk of frost has passed.

Division of offsets in early spring and place in a moist sandy media until roots appear.

Note:
Care should be taken when handling the plant as it may cause skin irritation or allergic reaction and the seeds are poisonous if ingested.

Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile leaves are obovate to oblong lanceolate with a serrated to entire margin and an obtuse apex. The thick textured green to mealy white concave leaves have a long cuneate base and may persist over winter.

Flower: The salverform flat-faced flowers have 5-pointed calyx lobes and a long tube with 5-spreading petals that are 2-lobed or entire. The pedestal is short and many flowers are arranged in a terminal umbel that is held above the foliage on a slender scape that is 25mm (1 in) to 200mm (8 in) long, appearing during spring. They are commonly yellow but are available in many colours.

Fruit: The small capsule has 5-10 valves and releases numerous tiny seeds that are vailable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
