Propagation
Sow fresh seeds in flats and maintain a temperature of 23°C (). the seeds germinate within 5-days and should be picked out and potted up when large enough to handle.

Botanic information
Leaf: The waxy textured oblong-linear to lanceolate leaves or up to 150 mm long by 25 mm wide and have a prominent pale green to whitish midrib and veins. They are arranged in opposite pairs (decussate) along the stems.

Flower: The inconspicuous male and female flowers are arranged in a yellow cup-shaped involucre(cyathia) that has lanceolate to triangular bright green bracts. The male flower has a single stamen and the female consists of a 3-celled pistil and pollinated by flies. The flowers are arranged in a terminal umbel that is up to 50 mm (2 in) wide and appearduring summer and sporadically in spring and autumn.

Fruit: The smooth plump green 3-valve globular capsule is up to 17 mm (? in) wide and is an explosive schizocarp that contains numerous viable seeds that are up to 3 mm (? in) in diameter.
