Propagation
Surface sow seeds immediately after collecting and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F). Prick out when large enough to handle and pot up.

Division of the clump during spring and reduce the foliage.


Botanic information
Leaf: The light green to grey green 2-3 pinnate leaves have nodding lobed leaflets and both the upper and lower surfaces are glaucous. The petiole has a narrow wing and the leaves are arranged sparsely, alternately along the stems.

Flower: The yellow throated white tubulate flowers have 2-sepals and 4-petals with the outer two paired having a short downward facing basal spur and the inner two petals are broadly winged. The reddish pedestal is up to 8 mm (? in)long and 6-16 flowers are arranged in an axillary raceme that appears in succession from late spring to summer.

Fruit: The small pendant dehiscent capsule has a long pedestal and contains numerous glossy seeds that are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
