Propagation
Sow seeds in situ or in container and place in a cold frame to germinate.

Divide leafy rosettes and plant out in situ during spring.


Botanic information
Leaf: The dark green spathulate leaves are up to 20 mm (µ in) long and coarsely serrated. The petiole is short and the apex is obtuse.

Flower: The pink or white expanded funnelform flowers are up to 10 mm (? in) wide with 5-notched corolla lobes. The flowers arranged in a terminal raceme that is held above the foliage on a pubescent purplish scape and appear from late spring to summer.

Fruit: The capsule contains numerous tiny viable seeds that sell sow readily but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
