Propagation
Sow fresh seed thinly when ripe autumn and germination normally occurs with in 6-weeks. For stored seeds allow up to 2 years for germination. Prick out when large enough to handle and grow on in a pot for 2-seasons due to the sensitive roots.

Botanic information
Leaf: The pinnate leaves are 2-ternate and are divided into 2-4 deeply cut lanceolate leaflets with an acuminate apex and short petioles. The dark green upper surface has prominent impressed veins and the underside is pale green.
Flower: The white to pink semi-pendant cyathiform flowers have 5-10 obovate petals with ruffled margins and large central boss short yellow stamens. They appear singularly amongst the foliage on a long slender green scape from late spring to early summer.
Fruit: The horizontal reddish follicles contain numerous large bluish seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
