Sow fresh seed during autumn and in cold climates place in a cold frame.
Divide established clumps during spring and offsets during spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The small fleshy bright green obovate to cuneate leaves are divided deeply into 5-linear segments. They are basal or arranged in a rosette-like cluster and have severial white hairs along the margins.
Flower: The small white, pink or red crateriform flowers have 5-sepals and 5-petals. They are arranged in a terminal cyme that appears above the foliage from early to late spring.
Fruit: The small capsule contains numerous tiny seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
