Propagation
Sow fresh seeds during early spring in containers and plant out when the large enough to handle.

Division of the rhizome during a late winter.

If plant parts are ingested they may cause stomach upset.

Botanic information
Leaf: The large mid-green cordate leaves have an accumulate apex and a core date base with a densely pubescent petiole is up to 120 mm (4µ in) long. Both the surfaces are densely covered in fine pubescence and the texture is soft leathery.

Flower: The bright yellow crateriform flowers have three large broad ovate green calyx lobes and 3-cordate-reniform petals that 10 mm (? in) long by 8 mm (¥ in) wide. they appear solitary on a densely white pubescent pedestal that is up to 35 mm (1? in) long from the leaf petiole from late spring to midsummer.

Fruit: The small follicular fruit is up to 8mm (? in) long by 6 mm (¥ in)wide and contains deltoid to seeds that are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
