Propagation
Sow fresh seed thinly when ripe autumn and germination normally occurs with in 6-weeks. For stored seeds allow up to 2 years for germination. Prick out when large enough to handle and grow on in a pot for 2-seasons due to the sensitive roots.

Botanic information
Leaf: The large pinnate leaves have 9-ovate leaflets that are deeply cut with pointed lobes and the yellowish green petiole is up to 300 mm (12 in) long. They are arranged alternately towards the end of the slender branches.

Flower: The golden-yellow crateriform flowers have up to 8-bracts and pointed sepals united and 10-obovate petals with ruffled margins and a large central boss short yellow stamens. They appear singularly amongst the foliage on a long slender green scape from late spring to early summer.

Fruit: The horizontal follicles contain numerous seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
