So fresh seeds in containers and place in a cold framed germinate. Seedlings take 5-7 years to produce flowers.
Division of the rhizome with a growing points when dormant from a late summer to early autumn. The rhizome may take two seasons to establish.

Botanic information
Leaf: The sessile leaves are broadly ovate to rhombic-ovate up to 150mm (6in) wide with an acuminate apex. The dark green leaves have prominent veins and maroon overtones. There are 3-leaves are arranged in a terminal whorl on a slender stem.
Flower: The outfacing erect funnelform flowers have 3-green sepals, 3-spreading white, pointed petals that a recurved towards the tips and my have overtones of pink. The flowers are held above the foliage on a greenish scape accompanied with bracts and appear during mid-spring to summer.
Fruit: The 6-angled greenish white globose berry has 3-chambers and produces no fragrance. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
