Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 19º to 24º C. (66º to 77º F).

Soft tip or semi-hardwood cuttings during late summer to early winter and apply bottom heat.


Botanic information
Leaf: The grey green leaves are elliptical to obovate, up to 15 mm (? in) wide with an obtuse apex and tapering to a short petiole. The slightly pubescent upper surface is puckered and the underside is covered in dense white tomentose.

Flower: The labiate flowers have a corolla tube that is up to 15 mm (? in)long with a 3 mm (? in)long 2-lobed upper lip and a 7 mm (¥ in)long lower lip. They are arranged in a dense spicate (spike like) inflorescence that appears during early summer and is 150 mm (6in) above the foliage.

Fruit: The small nut contains seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
