Propagation
Sow fresh seed during early spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).
Division of the clump during early spring.
Botanic information
Leaf: The trifoliate leaves have 3-broadly cordate leaflets that are up to 40mm (1? in) long with an obcordate apex and a cuneate base with a pubescent petiole that is up to 200 mm long. The upper surface has varying shades of dark green with a dappled effect.
Flower: The expanded funnelform flowers have 5-oblong to obovate petals that vary in colour from pink to white with a darker veins. They are held above the foliage on a pedestal that is up to 120 mm (4µ in)long and appear from spring to summer.
Fruit: The small capsule is explosive releasing tiny seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
