Propagation
Sow ripe seeds and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F). The seeds are easily germinate requiring no special treatment.

Stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.


Botanic information
Leaf: The large broad-lanceolate leaves are up to 35 mm (1? in) wide with an acuminate apex and a prominent mid rib. They are arranged densely towards the top of the stems and are upright at first, becoming pendant.

Flower: The tiny white shallow cyathiform (cup-shaped) flowers are 6-tepalled and are densely arranged in large panicle that appears, amongst the foliage during summer. In tropical climates the flowering and fruiting period may be variable.

Fruit: The white to purplish-blue spherical berry contains black seeds. The seeds are viable but the plant may be reproduced vegetatively.
