Propagation
Sow fresh seed during spring and maintain a temperature of 16º to 18º C. (61º to 64º F).

Commonly propagated by semi-hardwood cuttings taken during summer or by grafting.

Botanic information
Leaf: The almost sessile leaves are narrow-ovate to broad linear up to 4 mm (? in)wide with the obtuse apex and cuneate to obtuse base. The entire margins are strongly recurved and the mid green surfaces are glabrous.

Flower: The labiate flowers have a persistent bracteole and the calyx up to 6 mm (¥ in) long. The corolla is white to pale lilac with purple spots in the throat and yellowish spots on the outside of the lower lobe. The upper lobe is up to 4 mm (? in)long and the flowers are arranged in the leaf axils towards the end of the branches and appear during summer.

Fruit: The small capsule contains numerous seeds that are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
