Sow fresh seeds during spring, seeds germinate readily, but plants are variable.
Soft tip cuttings taken during early summer and placed in a protected environment.

Botanic information
Leaf: The obovate to diamond-shaped leaves have an irregular toothed margin or has 3-5 lobes at the apex. The petiole is short and the underside is bluish-green. During autumn the leaves may turn reddish before falling.
Flower: The small 5-petal crateriform flowers have a long slender pedestal and are arranged in a corymb-like umbel that is up to 50 mm (2in) wide. They appear towards the end of the branches during late spring.
Fruit: The small dry brown follicle contains numerous seeds and is persistent on the plant throughout winter. The small seeds are viable but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
