Propagation
Divide established clumps during spring or autumn and plant out in situ. Mulch and keep moist during establishment.
Take leaf cuttings with apart of the petiole from spring to summer and placed in warm humid environment.
Surface sow fresh seed during spring in flats and prick out and pot up when large enough to handle.
Botanic information
Leaf: The soft textured mid green reniform to broad-ovate leaves have 5-9 irregular lobes and are up to 80 mm (3? in) wide with a petiole up to 150 mm (6 in) long.
Flower: The small white-pink tubulate flowers are up to 10 mm (? in) long and have green tips. They are arranged in a one sided raceme-like panicle that is held above the foliage on a scape that is up to 550 mm (22 in) tall and appear during early summer.
Fruit: The small dehiscent capsule contains numerous tiny viable seeds but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively to maintain true to type.
