Propagation
Sow ripe seeds and maintain a temperature of 19º to 27º C. (66º to 81º F).

Stem cuttings of non-flowering shoots during the growing period.


Botanic information
Leaf: The leaves are linear to narrow oblanceolate with a cuneate base and an indistinct petiole. The upper surface is dark glossy green and the new growth is pale green.

Flower: The shallow cyathiform (cup-shaped) flowers have 6-recurved white to pink tepals and exserted stamens with yellow anthers. They are arranged in an axillary pendant panicle that appears from late spring to summer.

Fruit: The globose berry are red maturing to black and contain glossy black seeds that germinate readily, but the plant is commonly reproduced vegetatively.
